The Concordia College in Windhoek has recorded 68 new COVID-19 positive cases among learners. In the latest COVID-19 report, the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) said five other learners from different schools are among the total number of 87 confirmed cases. Health Minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula expressed concern as they have observed an instant upsurge in the number of new cases, especially among learners. He attributes it to failing to comply with public health and social measures. Dr Shangula said his ministry and their education counterparts have instituted measures to contain the spread of infection. The number of active cases now stands at 179.
