The Ministry of Health and Social Services has announced 596 positive cases of COVID-19 from 12 of the countries' 14 regions. Khomas recorded the highest of 320 followed by Omaheke and Erongo with 51 and 41 respectively. Of the confirmed cases, 85 are learners, 22 students, 24 teachers and 39 health care workers. The ministry has announced 22 deaths among them an 11-year-old girl from Windhoek. Hospitalisation cases have also increased from 280 to 311.
