Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Utjiua Muinjangue on Monday announced that Namibia recorded 259 new COVID-19 cases. The positive cases include 159 males and 100 females, with the youngest person being nine months old and the oldest, 82 years old. Four more deaths were announced, bringing the total number of deaths to 406 and 183 new recoveries. A total of 139 people are hospitalised with 15 admitted to intensive care units. Cumulative confirmed cases on Monday stood at 37 742, with active cases at 2 055.
