The recent rise in COVID-19 cases will put more strain on health care resources and is expected to lead to more hospitalisations and death in the country. The Ministry of Health and Social Services reminded the public that adherence to COVID-19 preventative measures, including vaccinations, social distancing and wearing of masks is critical in limiting the spread of the pandemic. Twenty-four more people have died from COVID-19 complications according to the latest report bringing the total number of deaths to 854.
