The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs joined the world in celebrating International Women's Day. This marks the day the world honours the accomplishment of women in all spheres of life and re-emphasises the reinforcement of gender parity. The day was celebrated under the theme "gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow".
