Panelists at the commemoration of the 1st anniversary of the International Women's Peace Centre, say peace should not only be seen in the context of war and conflict, but the re-occurring events of sexual and Gender Based Violence (GBV) in communites should also be seen as a threat to peace. Deliberate efforts are therefore needed to end violence against women and children.
