The community of Drimiopsis in the Omaheke Region this week handed over a petition against the increasing cases of violence and abuse against San women and girls in their community, to the police. This follows the gruesome death of Anna Geinamses, who was kidnapped, raped, murdered and her body dumped into a manhole on 1 August this year.
