The applications of two Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) candidates have been rejected by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN). ECN's Chief Electoral and Referenda Officer, Theo Mujoro say Asser Sheuyanga for Windhoek West and Frans Ismael for Karibib constituencies have not been authorised to stand as candidates by the RDP.
