Eight Malian team members have tested positive for COVID-19. This includes five players and three staff. The eight have since been isolated from the team and are in the hands of the state, receiving medical care. Speaking to NBC at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, NFA Acting Secretary-General Franco Cosmos says the match will go ahead as planned despite the latest developments in the Malian team. The Malian team is expected to leave Namibia immediately after tonight's match against the Brave Warriors.
