The Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Forestry through the Human-Wildlife Conflict National Database is currently identifying hotspot areas to reduce incidences of Human-Lion conflict. Identification will be implemented through various mitigating measures such as predator-proof kraals and early warning detection systems already being implemented in the Erongo and Kunene regions.
