The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism is in the process of facilitating the translocation of eight cheetahs to India. The translocation of the cheetahs is part of a recently signed bilateral agreement that focuses on wildlife conservation and sharing good practices in generating livelihoods for local communities living in wildlife areas between the two countries.
