Esau rushed to hospital

Former Fisheries Minister Bernhard Esau, who stands accused of receiving bribes from an Icelandic company, Samherji, has been rushed to an unnamed hospital in Windhoek after falling ill while in custody at the Seeis Police Station. This was confirmed by acting Inspector-General of the Namibian Police, Major General Anne-Marie Nainda today.
