The European Union continues to make huge investments in strengthening democracy in Namibia. In addition to the N$25 million the EU spent in parliamentary support programmes over the past five years, the Union will make another N$90 million available to roll out this programme to the civil society sector to ensure their involvement in the promotion of democracy.
