The transition period for tax exemptions of registered manufacturers and EPZ operators will be extended to five years, once the Income Tax Amendment Bill becomes law. Tax exemption for registered manufacturers and EPZ companies was abolished on December 31 2020 and were to be implemented on December 31 2021. The Income Tax Amendment Bill was tabled in the National Assembly.
