A 30-year-old man at Aussenkehr and another, aged 36, at Farm Bruno near Kamanjab, were arrested for raping a 10-year-old and 14-year-old girls respectively. According to the Namibian Police's weekly crime report, a man entered another man's home in Swakopmund's Vineta residential area on Friday. He allegedly stole his wallet, a laptop, a cellphone and three diamond rings worth N$21 000 after assaulting him. At Rocky Crest in Windhoek on Saturday, some men stabbed a motorist and hijacked his Isuzu bakkie containing a laptop, a pair of sunglasses, two cellphones, a power bank and a wallet. The car was later recovered with doors and windows broken. At Onesi, unknown suspects broke into Etaka Entertainment Bar on Sunday and robbed its owner at gunpoint of about N$4 000 seized from the jukebox and safe. On the same day at a car wash near Ramatex, a man was robbed of his car and cellphone at gunpoint. The car was later recovered at a car wash opposite Ramatex. At Okahandja, a Chinese National was robbed of his cell-phone, N$2 000 and car keys all valued at N$10 000. Of all the robberies, only the suspects in the Okahandja robbery have been arrested.
