The former Director of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, Moses Ndjarakana, has died. He was 61. His cousin Stumbo Tjeja confirmed to NAMPA that Ndjarakana died at Epukiro in the Omaheke Region Tuesday morning after he was rushed to the clinic there from Eiseb Block. “Moses was a brave man. It's a big loss, we lost a mentor, an academic and a hardworking person in our family,” Tjeja said. Ndjarakana is survived by his mother, wife and nine children. He was born at Sehitwa in Botswana on 2 February 1959. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later stage. -NAMPA
