A former Namibian police officer sentenced to 25 years imprisonment

A former Namibian police officer has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment. The 31-year-old Justin Simataa will spend two and half decades in jail, for killing 25-year-old Fabrice Mae, in 2012 - and attempting to also kill his friend. Windhoek High Court Judge, Nate Ndauendapo sentenced Simataa to 30 years for the murder, 15 years for attempted murder, two years for discharging a firearm in public, and one year for malicious damage to property.
