COVID-19 outpatients and health workers at the Keetmanshoop Hospital were treated to meals provided by the Keetmanshoop municipality. Kleinmachnow municipality in Germany helped fund the collective meals for close to 100 outpatients and health workers, to aid those taking medication on empty stomach. The Keetmanshoop Charity Project Steering Committee, says it will continue to assist community members struggling with daily necessities. The municipality plans to roll out similar projects to informal settlements.
