Government and investors urged to ensure that mining companies survive current lack of productivity

Oranjemund's Constituency Councillor, Lazarus Nangolo is urging the government and investors to ensure that mining companies do not close down to avert job losses. After Skorpion Zinc mine announced the suspension of operations on safety grounds last year, the mine retrenched nearly 1 500 workers. Nangolo made the call during a stakeholder meeting in Rosh Pinah.
