Minister Frans Kapofi says the Government has not found a law allowing former lawmaker Geoffrey Mwilima's release on health and humanitarian grounds. The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security says that they will continue considering Mwilima's request until it meets legal requirements. Geoffrey Mwilima, a former DTA MP is serving an 18-year prison term after being convicted of high treason and other charges.
