Government has reviewed the criteria for issuing travel permits at Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Arandis local authorities, due to incidences of abuse and non-compliance to COVID-19 preventative measures. Attorney General Festus Mbandeka says the review was further prompted by some confirmed COVID-19 cases being travel-related between Walvis Bay and towns in other regions.
