Grade 12 results of learners who wrote through the Namibia College of Open Learning, NAMCOL, will be released on the 11th of March. This was said by Education Deputy Minister Faustina Caley, who was responding to an urgent question from Popular Democratic Movement President McHenry Venaani, who expressed his worry about the impact these delays would have on students’ access to tertiary institutions. Venaani noted the closing date for registration at tertiary institutions is nearing and this could deprive successful learners of an opportunity to access tertiary institutions this year. Caley however said the ministry has already notified these institutions and requested them to be ready to facilitate their admission. The deputy minister said the release of the results, which was due this week, was delayed due to technical problems.
