Despite having been allocated social houses, many San families are said to be returning to makeshift shelters under trees near the dilapidated single quarter's hostel at Grootfontein. This was revealed by Grootfontein Municipality public relations officer, Luke Salomo, who says the council is now looking for ways to permanently evict and destroy the temporary shelters.
