The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula, has dismissed reports that scabies is caused by the COVID-19 vaccines. The itchy skin condition caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei, has infected 3400 people between January and March this year.
