The Homba Fishing company extended a helping hand to the Elcin Nkurenkuru health centre, with a donation of baby hampers, to ensure that basic services await newborns at delivery. Ukwangali Hompa, Eugene Siwombe, who is also the Chairperson of Homba Fishing Company handed over the donation. The assistance includes clothes, blankets, basins and other necessities. Siwombe explained that as part of the company's social responsibility, the company saw it fit to take up the responsibility to ensure that mothers do not struggle with basic needs for their newborns when they come to deliver.
