Hundreds of employees whose salaries were reduced as a result of COVID-19 are still waiting for their payouts from the Social Security Commission (SSC). The Government, together with SSC, introduced a relief programme under the National Employment and Salary Protection Scheme, The scheme was financed to the tune of over N$600 million and the SSC was charged with the responsibility to disburse the money.
