Workers in the mining, metal, maritime and construction industries have been advised to form a joint commission in order to fight for better conditions of employment. The Regional Coordinator of Mining, Metal, Maritime and Construction Workers Union (MMMU), Immanuel Festus made the call while updating the public on the unresolved labour issues, which started in November last year, at Uis Tin Mine in Erongo Region.
