Independent Patriots for Change's (IPC) Dr Fearika Botha has been sworn in as a local authority councillor at Otjiwarongo. Dr Botha took over the position, which was left vacant after the death of Lee-en Liebenberg in July. Presiding over the ceremony was District Magistrate Karrel Muyegu. Otjiwarongo Municipality now has seven local authority councillors, four from the SWAPO party, while LPM, PDM and IPC each have one member on the council.
