Some residents living in the Kaisosi settlement on the outskirts of Rundu are at loggerheads with the town council and property developers for allegedly expropriating their crop fields without compensation. Residents claimed they have been cultivating their mahangu fields since 1970, long before Rundu was proclaimed as a town in 1992.
