Residents of the Kamutjonga Village and those living on the outskirts of Mahango Core Conservation Area, of the Bwabwata National Park in the Kavango East Region, are living in constant fear of the Foot and Mouth disease (FMD) outbreak. Since the national park is home to hundreds of buffalos, the community fears that their cattle, that are grazing inside the national park, might have come into direct contact with Buffaloes and can be in the proceess of being infected with FMD.
