Nine babies were born in Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region on New Year's Day. Three girls and a boy were born after midnight while the rest two boys and three girls came during the day At the time the NBC News visited the hospital about an hour after midnight, the first baby, a boy had been born. All babies are said to be in good health and so are the mothers, who were in good spirits and bonding with their little ones.
