Residents in the Katima Rural and Sibbinda constituencies in the Zambezi Region have called for the creation of more infrastructure so that they have access to information timely. The call was made during a public hearing on the proposed Access to Information Bill by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information, Communication and Technology at Bukalo. The Access to Information Bill aims to promote the public's access to information and to compel public and private entities to proactively and promptly make information available.
