A group calling itself the Kavango East Concerned Group staged a demonstration against the appointment of Chinese businessman Charlie Min Xie, as Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo's Special Advisor. This is despite Governor Wakudumo having withdrawn the appointment and apologised for any confusion his action might have caused.
