The community of Okangwati and surrounding areas in the Epupa Constituency of the Kunene Region want several services improved by the incoming councillors after the elections. Those who NBC News spoke to want better cellphone network reception, more schools, tar road between Okangwati and Opuwo and improved water provision. The youth further complained about high unemployment and lack of job opportunities and appealed for these to be addressed. They, however, expressed their readiness to participate in the elections and choose leaders of their choice.
