Efforts to remove toxic sulphuric acid sand fill at Grootfontien's temporary dumpsite has resulted in a legal battle between the towns' council and contractor that illegally dumped the waste. Council's Strategic Executive for Properties and Community Services, Arnold Ameb confirmed this to NBC News.
