Namibian creative Reginald Emvula is encouraging young local filmmakers to not get discouraged by having to start from the bottom in the industry. Emvula is currently employed at Disney Studios in Los Angeles, where he works as a character technical director. He recently worked on the hit feature film 'Encanto', which just won the 2022 Golden Globe award, for best animation.
