The Landless People's Movement (LPM) has condemned what the party termed harassment and threats of opposition MP's by state security. The party alleges that opposition MPs are often subjected to harsh security checks as opposed to SWAPO party parliamentarians. But the police say the recent incident at Parliament, in which a lawyer's bag was searched was unfortunate.
