A 32-year-old man was killed while another was seriously injured on Saturday night in a car accident on the Oshikuku-Okalongo road in the Omusati Region. It is alleged that the driver of a Honda Fit, lost control of the vehicle after failing to negotiate a curve at Oshiteyatemo Village, causing it to overturn. The passenger succumbed to injuries sustained whilst on his way to Oshikuku Roman Catholic Hospital while the driver sustained serious injuries and is reported to be in a critical condition. The deceased has been identified as Kaanduka Indileni from Endola Village in the Ohangwena Region. His next of kin have already been informed and police investigations in the matter continue.
