Three men were arrested in the Omaruru District on Wednesday after police discovered 250 Mandrax tablets in the car they were travelling in. The street value of the tablets is estimated to be about N$30 000. A police incident report issued on Thursday indicated that the suspects were stopped about 15km from Omaruru on the B2 road. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of the tablets in the car’s boot. They were charged with dealing in Mandrax, alternatively being in possession of Mandrax. They are expected to appear in the Omaruru Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
