The chairperson of the SWAPO national leaders assigned to Kavango East, Lucia Ipumbu, delivered the water tank she promised the residents of Manwangombe Teya. The villagers made a request for a water point to Ipumbu during her campaign for the Presidential and National Assembly Elections in November last year.
