A moment of silence observed at the Windhoek central hospital in remembrance of the late Fidel Castro

A moment of silence was observed at the Windhoek central hospital on Saturday afternoon in remembrance of the late "Commander in Chief" as the mourners called him, known to the world as Fidel Castro. A mourner who is from Mali described him as the Sun that rose in changing the lives of many Africans through giving them opportunities to better their lives as well as of their country. Namibians who lived in Cuba stated that though Castro is no more, his legacy of unity will burn forever. Cubans living in Namibia said waking up to news of a man who stood up for the right of many all over the world especially his own people was unbearable, but they are certain that the man who is known for his stance on freedom and a father to many, died knowing that he leaves the world in a state that people know their strength and the power they have within themselves to change any situation.
