Lawmakers in the National Assembly are up in arms expressing dismay at the N$110 million allocated to the house in the 2022 -2023 financial year. They say, the amount is too little and will not enable the legislative chamber to carry out its core mandate. MPs from all political divides spoke in unison calling for this allocation to be amended, while some labelled the allocation as an attempt to kill one of the country's third state organs- which is the legislature.
