Members of Parliament (MPs) in the National Assembly have commended Namibian athletes who made headlines at international sports events of late, bringing home a number of medals. Namibian athletes made it to the podium at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the under 20 championships in Kenya, the Diamond League in Brussels as well as the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. They won medals at all these events.
