The late former Erongo Governor, Cleophas Kairimutue Mutjavikua was buried today following COVID-19 protocols. Mutjavikua was buried at Commonwealth War Gravesite at Grootfontein. Only a few family members and Government officials, including Vice President, Nangolo Mbumba witnessed the burial. Mutjavikua died from COVID-19 complications on 3 January. He is survived by six children and his wife Tjitapandu Mutjavikua.
