MVA urges public to be cautious on roads this heroes day

With the countrywide easing of COVID-19 restrictions and upcoming Heroes Day long weekend, Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVA) cautions all road users to exercise extra vigilance when using the road. According to MVA Fund's road crash statistics, five lives were lost and 65 persons sustained injuries in 40 crashes during the previous Heroes Day long weekend. In a media statement, MVA Fund is reminding motorists to make road safety a priority and plan their journey on inspecting vehicle tires to make sure they are in good condition. The public is further reminded to report all road crashes to the Fund Accident Response Number 9286
