Namibia is currently faced with an increasing demand for pre-hospital care caused by incidences of trauma resulting from a variety of medical conditions. The Ministry of Health and Social Service (MoHSS), says despite progress made in Emergency Medical Services, more still needs to be done to ensure that functional and widely accessible pre-hospital care is available.
