Namibia is close to achieving universal primary education with over 85% of the children who started Grade One completing Grade 7. The country has already achieved the elimination of gender disparities in access to education at all levels. UNICEF Country Representative Rachel Odede said this when she handed over the Namibia Examinations and Assessment report to the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture.
