Government has started to implement the Decision of the 14th Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union on Silencing the Guns in Africa as envisioned in the AU Agenda 2063. The ministry, through NAMPOL, has to this effect launched an Africa Amnesty Month, commemorated annually during the month of September.
