Health and Social Services Minister, Dr Kalumbi Shangula said Namibia would start the vaccination process on 19 March, prioritising frontline workers. The first batch of the Sino-pharm vaccine has arrived in Namibia today. The vaccination will be rolled out in phases, starting in Khomas and Erongo regions. The 100 000 doses were donated by China, making Namibia the third country in SADC to receive the Chinese jabs. Zimbabwe's national airline, Air Zimbabwe brought the consignment to the Hosea Kutako International Airport.
