Namibia has signed two Memoranda of Understandings with Palestine. Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and her Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki on Friday signed a Political Negotiations and a Joint Commission of Cooperation MoU. Earlier on today Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed Namibia's support for Palestine and the agreements which, according to Nandi-Ndaitwah, have now been solidified will ensure political and diplomatic negotiations between the two countries are consolidated. Palestine has also offered to dispatch medical staff to work in Namibia. The ambassadors of Cuba and Venezuela were also present at the signing ceremony as a sign of international solidarity, they said.
